Abstract

The major weeds were Coronopus didymus (41%), Poa annua (21.8%), Cyperus rotundus (11.2%), Medieago dentieulata (4.7%) and Ageratum eonyzoides (4.6%). Oxadiazon at 1.0 kg ha−1 and oxadiazon at 0.75+pendimethalin 0.75 kg ha−1 were found to be the most effective in terms of weed control and yield.
