Poultry viscera meal (PVM) in place of fish meat at 5 and 8 per cent level was used in feed pellets with an objective of its effect on carcass traits and offais yield in New Zealand White (NZW) rabbits. It was observed that per cent carcass yield and total edible offals weight (g) in Group III (8% fish meal replacement) were significantly (P<0.05) higher (47.24±1.22 and 121.00±1.84) than control Group 1 (43.20±0.78 and 11.10±2.82), respectively. The per cent chilling loss was significantly lower (2.66±0.23) in Group III from the control (3.61±0.28) group. The inedible offals yield (g) like blood, skin, hind feet and lungs were also significantly (P<0.05) higher in Group III when compared to the control group I. The study indicated that PVM, can be safely included in rabbit diets by replacing fish meal with better results.
