To assess the awareness of Pulmonary rehabilitation among the COPD patient, to associate the knowledge scores among the COPD patients with selected demographic variable.
A total of 200 patients were enrolled using purposive sampling in this cross sectional study. A total of 20 questions were included in this questionnaire. These questions were divided into two domains that included COPD disease (0108) and pulmonary rehabilitation (09–20).
Majority of the COPD patients 98 (49%) had poor knowledge regarding COPD pulmonary rehabilitation, followed by 65 (32.5%) had average knowledge and 37 (18.5%) had good knowledge regarding COPD rehabilitation. Chi-Square test there is a significant association between demographic characteristics namely; History of exposure to smoke, Duration of exposure to pollutants, Duration of Illness (p<0.05) and remaining characteristics are not significant (p>0.05).
