Deolled karanj cake replaced G N cake-N of a standard kid grower ration at 0, 20, 30 and 40 % level and fed to four groups (T1 to T4) in a 365 days growth trial. Non-significant differences were observed both in DM intake/100 kg body weight and weight gain among the 3 groups (T1 to T3). However, weight gain was lower (P<0.01) in groups T4. The average daily gains were 38, 35, 33 and 22 g, respectively, in groups T1 to T4. Digestibility co-efficients and balances of various nutrients were discussed. Feed consumed for unit weight gain and cost of production were significantly (P<0.01) higher in T4 group.
