An experiment was carried out on 18 year old acid lime trees. From four years studies on severity of pruning, light pruning (15–25 cm), medium pruning (25–45 cm), heavy pruning (4575 cm) and control (no pruning), it is concluded that the trees produced significantly higher yield (902 fruit/tree/year) of superior quality fruits with the application of medium pruning (removal of terminal shoots up to 45 cm). The pruning in old acid lime trees were done in the month of June, 1997.
