Job satisfaction is an attitudinal variable that reflects how people feel about their jobs as well as its various aspects. The major aim of this study was to evaluate the level of job satisfaction and punctuality. Sample of 400 female teachers, 200 from Private, and 200 from Government sector schools were selected respectively. Job related satisfaction was measured with Job descriptive index (JDI; Smith et al.1969) whereas; punctuality level was measured with Punctuality scale (Perveen, 2002). Total job satisfaction score was highly correlated with punctuality level, than any single job satisfaction factor, while teachers possessing low scores on job descriptive index exhibited low level of punctuality. Scores of government and private sector teachers on subscales of JDI (i.e., Pay, Co-workers & Supervision) indicated that private teachers were found more satisfied than government sector teachers.
