This study investigates the relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance of the Insurance companies. This evaluation is done through the relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance of company (return on equity). Hence, the data of 23 Insurance companies were used. By creating a linear logarithmic function and its estimation by panel data method, it was determined that the variable of intellectual capital with a coefficient of 0.01 has a direct relation with equity returns. Hence, the main purpose of study is to investigate the relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance of the food industry companies accepted in Tehran Stock Exchange.
