The reported land use and forest data collected for 1991 to 2003 as a secondary in nature. Linear and log linear models used in calculation of land use and carbon accumulation changes. The carbon accumulation in MP forest was 3465.232 Mt in 1991 and it will be 3406.429 Mt in 2025. The downfall in carbon accumulation shows the significant change in forest cover area, inner conversion in geographical area, land use changes, and disproportionate variations in dense and open forests. This study will be helpful in understanding of inner land use shift and its impact on carbon. Top Keywords Forest, Carbon sequestration, Land use, Forecasting, Biomass. Top |
