Accessing the impact of Point Of Sales (POS) on efficient financial service delivery amidst covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria: A case study of Ilorin west metropolis Abubakar, Alfakoro S. Yushau Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria Online published on 30 May, 2021. Abstract Going with the technological advancement for easy transactions and also curtailing the situations of moving around with large sums, e-banking now becomes one of the fastest and most efficient means of financial service delivery toady. Coinciding with the emergence of corona-virus, accessing financial institutions becomes worrisome due to issues ranging from increases in ques, closure of banks, limited working hours and other attending effects of the virus; which now propels the increase and importance of this financial outlets. The study examines the impact of Pos on efficient financial service delivery amidst Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria. A descriptive method was adopted as the methodology for the study in which interviews were conducted among Pos users within the twelve wards of Ilorin west metropolis. The findings of the study reveals that Pos was really efficient in financial service delivery amidst the period of covid-19 pandemic. The paper recommends that more Pos terminals should be created so has to ease financial service delivery and also challenges attributed to this process such as bad network and high charges among others should be giving adequate attentions so has to motivate people venturing into such business and also draw in new users.
