Abstract

To save the various species of flora and fauna from extinction it has become a necessity to reduce pollution and shift towards sustainable and environmentally friendly sources of energy. Towards same India has put forth vision to achieve net zero by 2070 and rolled out National Hydrogen Mission and related policies. This paper discuss the various prospects of power sectors, viz. Indian position in global reference, policy framework for certification of Net Zero Carbon emission for Green Hydrogen products, standalone vs grid Connected RE, long distance energy transportation : power vs Green Hydrogen, Off shore wind : Electricity Vs Green Hydrogen etc. towards development of Green Hydrogen Hub.
