Abstract Fenugreek (Trigonella foneum-graecum L.) is an annual crop with high medicinal properties. Among different diseases, downy mildew (Peronospora trigonella) causes maximum crop loss. Screening of 35 germplasm was completed under in vitro and in vivo conditions. Germplasm UM -34, UM-118, RMt-143 and HM-346 showed resistance under both conditions. Twenty different treatments with four plant extracts, three bio-agents and their combinations were tested. The combinations of seed treatment with T. viride and Kalisena and foliar spray of garlic bulb extract gave significantly better disease control. Seed treated with T. viride enhanced seed yield by 17.30%. Top Keywords Resistance, bio-agent, Peronospora trigonella, Trigonella foenum graecum. Top |
