Abstract Pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan) being an important legume crop in the semi-arid regions of the world requires extensive research on molecular level. Rapid DNA extraction method with high purity is required for PCR and molecular analysis. The fidelity of the research can only be maintained by the purity of DNA. A number of methods have already been described for the isolation of genomic DNA. Some methods of DNA isolation like CsCl-gradient require large amount of tissues and are not suitable for the isolation of DNA from small tissue samples. Top Keywords DNA isolation, CsCl-gradients, PCR. Top | |
