Abstract A Pre-experimental (One group pretest post-test) research design was adopted to evaluate the effectiveness of Video Assisted Teaching Programme (VATP) on knowledge about sexual exploitation among adolescent girls. Fifty girls were selected through convenience sampling technique. The mean knowledge score of pre-test was 13.44 (±2.08) and it was 23.88 (±1.94) in post-test. A statistically significant association (p<0.05) was found between knowledge and hobbies of adolescent girls. The VATP on knowledge about sexual exploitation was effective in improving the knowledge of adolescent girls. Top Keywords Effectiveness, Video Assisted Teaching Programme, Sexual exploitation. Top |
