I present before you first issue of volume Three of TechnoLEARN a bi-annual International Journal of Educational Technology, focusing on Computer Education, Adult Education, Teacher Education, Distance Education, Technical Education, Women’s Education, Rural Education and issues related to education in India in particular.

The chief aim of TechnoLEARN is to disseminate information related to technology among teachers, helping them to use this information in improving professional skills and imparting the gained knowledge among learning students. In addition, it also strives to provide new guidelines to researchers and educationists.

The previous edition to this stressed upon ongoing changes in the field of Educational Technology, however the issue in hand will not only accord a new dimension to the thinking process of teachers, but will inspire them to go beyond, and apply new and practical ideas in practice, related to emerging field of Educational Technology.

The rapid and novel changes, brought about by emerging technologies, have significant impact on the way people think, work and live. It is, therefore, obvious to combine these innovations with teaching and learning process, education as a whole. As this will help in breaking the mundane cycle of learning, making the process of learning simple and enjoyable for students besides encouraging teachers.

The current issue is an attempt to enlighten teachers and intellectuals concerned with education particularly in respect to impact of harmony of education and information technology -learning in general, accessing the various learning resources, catering to needs of diverse learners, and immediacy to information in particular. This issue, I believe, will help in developing a positive attitude and approach towards the emerging field of Educational Technology.

It is a matter of satisfaction that the issue in hand consists of papers contributed by professionals from various fields. I hereby convey my thanks to the contributors and appreciate efforts of guest editors and eminent educationist, who helped in bringing out this edition successfully. The articles included in this issue will stimulate thinking of readers, in respect to different aspects of usage of Educational Technology in teaching-learning environment.
