Abstract

An experiment was conducted at Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat during rabi and summer season 2010–11 and 2011–12 to find out the seasonal abundance of major sucking pest population of mungbean (Vigna radiata L. Wileczk). Result indicated that the whitefly (Bemisia tabaci Gennadi us) population occurred in both the seasons and the population trend in relation with crop season was almost similar.
