Abstract The mean data on physiological loss in weight (%) as influenced by various post harvest chemical treatments, packaging and lining materials during storage of mango were recorded at 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th day after storage. The data pertaining to physiological loss in weight at 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th day after storage were found significant with different treatments. Post harvest chemical treatments, packaging and lining materials were found significant for physiological loss in weight Minimum physiological loss in weight was recorded in treatment C2(KMnO4 4 g/l) i.e. 2.94, 9.40, 21.35, and 34.58% at 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th days of storage, respectively. The maximum physiological loss in weight 3.79, 10.48, 24.32, and 39.79% at 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th days of storage was recorded with control treatment respectively. In case of packaging materials the lowest physiological loss in weight was recorded in treatment P2 (Corrugated Fiber Board) i.e. 3.23, 9.64, 22.18 and 36.01 per cent at 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th days of storage, respectively. In the lining materials the lowest physiological loss in weight was recorded in treatment L3 (Paddy straw lining) i.e. 3.28, 9.91, 22.48 and 36.25 percent at 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th day after storage, respectively. Interactionsof(CXP), (LXC), (L X P) and (C X PX L) were found significant. Among the (C X P X L) interaction were found significant with physiological loss in weight at 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th day after storage. Significantly the minimum physiological loss in weight was recorded in the treatment combination of C2P2L3i.e.2.60, 7.59, 18.81, and 31.58 per cent at 3rd 6th, 9th and 12th day after storage, respectively.
