Abstract The present investigation was carried out during kharif season 2011–12 at college farm, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari (Gujarat) to study the Effect different environment and nitrogen level on availability of nutrients contents in soil after crop harvest. The experiment was laid out in a split plot design with three dates of transplanting (12 July 2012, 27 July 2012, 11 August 2012) as main plot treatment, three genotypes (Jaya, Gurjari, GNR-2) and two nitrogen levels (75 kg/ha and 100 kg/ha) as sub-plot treatment. Results revealed that the non significant effect was found between dates of transplanting, variety and nitrogen levels with respect to available N, P, K nutrients contents in soil at after harvest of rice cultivars.
