Online published on 13 January, 2016. Abstract A field experiment was conducted at MARS (Main Agricultural Research Station), Dharwad during 2013. Among the different ecosystems forest ecosystem (64.31/100 g of soil) was recorded highest population of total soil micro arthropods followed by horticultural (51.10/100 g of soil) and agricultural ecosystems (34.14/100 g of soil). Forest ecosystem recorded more number of collembolans (15.76/100 g of soil) and cryptostigmatids (15.19/100 g of soil) as compared to horticultural and agricultural ecosystems. Top Keywords Agricultural ecosystem, Horticultural ecosystem and Forest ecosystem. Top | |
