Online published on 13 January, 2016. Abstract The experiment was conducted to observe the importance of irrigation scheduling and also to analyze the interaction effect of micronutrient with the irrigation on yield of Cowpea. It was planned at College Agronomy farm, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Guj arat) during the summer season of the year 2013–14. It was laid out on a sandy loam soil having a split plot design containing 12 different treatments combinations for different levels of irrigation and different doses of Zinc with 4 replications. The results revealed that the treatment combination I4Zn1 has recorded significantly the highest number of pods plant−1 (39.88), weight of 100 seed (8.47g) and seed and Stover yield (1220 and 5524 kg hac−1). The highest value for water use efficiency (WUE) was observed under treatment I1Zn2 while; I4Zn0 shows the least value for water use efficiency.
