Abstract A field experiment was conducted to know the enriched biodigester liquid manures effect on nutrient uptake and economics of finger millet [Eleusine coracana (L.) Gaertn.] during Kharif season of 2011 at Research Institute on Organic Farming unit Balajigapade, UAS Bangalore. The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design with eleven treatment and three replications. Significantly higher total nitrogen (137.9 kg ha−1), phosphorus (27.8 kg ha−1) and potassium (96.2 kg ha−1) were taken up by the crop in treatment T6(FYM 10 t + BDLM enriched with poultry manure and rock phosphate equivalent to 60kg N ha−1) as compared to recommended practice. Highest B C ratio of 2.78 wasobtained in T6 while, that of recommended practice was 2.31. Top Keywords Enriched bio-digester liquid manure, nitrogen uptake, B C ratio, finger millet. Top |
