Abstract Integrated management of root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) by various organic amendments, cultural practices with nematicidal check were evaluated for low cost, effective and economic management of nematodes on turmeric. Three years pooled data indicated that soil solarization was best treatment among all treatments which gave lowest root-knot index (2.10) and highest yield (20280 kg/ha), followed by rabbing treatment which resulted low root-knot index (2.38) and more yield (18557 kg/ha). Carbofuran and organic amendments were found less effective and remained at par with each other in controlling root-knot nematodes.
