Abstract The extracts of Moringa pterygosperma were tested against Phenylhydrazine induced anaemia in rats and the changes in different haematological parameters have been evaluated. It has been found that the extract of Moringa pterygosperma produces significant increase in haematological parameters particularly Hb content, RBC counts, Haematocrit, Plateletcrit etc. Top Keywords Moringa pterygosperma Gaertn, Phenylhydrazine (PHZ), red blood cell (RBC) count, haemoglobin (Hb).
