The majority of the murders of infants and newborns are by the biological mother.[1] The motive for murdering the newborn relates to the shame, the fear of rejection, abandonment by significant others and the social stigmas associated with an illegitimate birth. In present case authors discuss a rare case of female neonaticide by more than one method and body being disposed in water canal by perpetrator to hide the crime.
