Medical College, Patiala (INDIA) Abstract The present study was undertaken to study the pattern of poisoning deaths in the Malwa region of Punjab, for a period of two years from January 2001 to December 2002. The association of age, sex, marital status, occupation, education, income, place of residence in the poisoning deaths was studied statistically among the cases brought to the mortuary of Govt.
