Abstract OERs have increased access to internationally produced educational resources by anybody from anywhere in the globe. These resources are becoming more and more important for the academic community and are considered important resources for teaching and research. The issue of OERs is now being discussed in the higher education sector. A well-constructed questionnaire was developed to gather information to meet the study’s goal. A total of 50 questionnaires were distributed among the B.Ed. students and 42 get back returned completed with an 84% response rate. These findings of the study indicate that respondents are knowledgeable about OERs and their tools. Among these resources, SWAYAM - NPTEL emerges as the most favored and extensively utilized, closely followed by NCERT. Most respondents use OERs once a month for various purposes, such as accessing course-related materials, and class notes, completing assignments, and enhancing their general knowledge. They achieve this by downloading a variety of content types, including videos, audio, images, and documents.
