Abstract During the COVID-19 pandemic, all the institutions and learning centres shut down across the country, thereby affecting the world drastically. Though the learning and sharing of knowledge didn't stop. The head of the institution and teachers somehow managed the virtual classroom around the world and tried to communicate with the students, research scholars, etc. with the help of social media platforms and other means like learning by doing as they provide the education. In the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 1.5 billion students learning got affected. The main objective of this paper is to study the effectiveness of webinars and online workshops during the COVID-19 pandemic in Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar. The Rajiv Gandhi University, being a centre of education in Arunachal Pradesh also took several initiatives by conducting webinars during the COVID-19 Pandemic period. Sixty-one online seminars (webinars) for Researchers, students, and faculty members were organized from March 2020 to Nov 2021 by different departments. They all attended the lectures in the same room as the presenter or from distant locations. They have interacted with the presenter using their personal computers, tablets, or smartphones. They were able to ask questions and answer the instructor's multiple-choice or open-ended questions. The questionnaire was prepared and distributed to all the departments of Rajiv Gandhi University to study the webinar pattern and how technology in the form of ‘webinar'emerged as a life-saving element for not only aspiring students but also for research scholars.
