The main insect pests identified include aphids, thrips, mites, black-headed fireworms, and trunk borers, causing notable damage to nectarine trees. Natural predators associated with these pests were also documented, including ladybird beetles (Coccinella spp.), green lacewings (Chrysoperla spp.), syrphid flies (Episyrphus baltatus, Sphaerophoria scripta), pirate bugs, predatory mites, praying mantises, and spiders.
