Identification of resistance source to whitefly, Bemisia tabaci and yellow mosaic disease (YMD) in blackgram genotypes

Abstract

The results revealed that out of the seventy genotypes, only five (GBG-1, VBN-6, VBN-7, PU 15 27, and VBG 12-062) were found to be resistant showing least preference to whitefly and a disease rating scale of 1 to 2. These genotypes can be utilized as donors to develop MYMV-resistant lines.
