Abstract A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of new insecticide molecules and botanicals against whitefly infestation and MYMV disease incidence in mung bean. Six insecticidal treatments were assessed, with acetamiprid 20 SP showing the highest efficacy, resulting in maximum control and reduced incidence of MYMV. This was followed by betacyfluthrin 8.49% + imidacloprid 19.18%, imidacloprid 17.8% SL, and chlorantraniliprole 18.5%. Among the botanicals, neem gold at 2% exhibited greater efficacy compared to neem oil at 3% against whitefly infestation and MYMV incidence.
