Abstract Present study was conducted to understand and collect information management by using different insecticides/botanicals and evaluation of various baits for trapping fruit flies. Among various insecticides/ botanicals tested for their efficacies, chlorantraniliprole (0.005%), cyantraniliprole (0.002%), spinosad (0.004%) were found quite effective for the management of fruit fly on guava and these chemicals were also found environmentally safe, thus, can be incorporated in the management of fruit fly in guava.
