For this purpose, 360 youth aged between 20-22 years were taken. Research tools used were Spiritual intelligence scale by Dhar and Dhar (2010) and Levenson’s scale for locus of control by Vohra (1999). Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency and percentage), Z test, t-test and Karl Pearson’s Coefficient of Correlation. Result indicated that males and females of Punjab and Uttarakhand differ significantly in spiritual intelligence and correlation relation analysis showed that individuals with high spiritual intelligence believed that their accomplishments and failures were the product of their efforts and hard work, whereas youth with poor spiritual intelligence believed that their successes and failures were the result of external factors beyond their control.
