Aims and Scope

The main aim of the RCIS will be to enhance the effectiveness of information delivery channels to enable the maximum use, particularly of indigeneously generated information in developmental activities. The Centre will also keep track of newer developments in IT and the globalization of information systems to ensure that optimal use is made of these. Programmes mainly of application oriented research and human resources development will be regular features of the Centre.
