Online published on 2 April, 2016. Abstract A total of 89 uterine swabs were collected from repeat breeding cattle and buffaloes to evaluate the prevalence of pathogenic fungi. Sixteen (17.98%) uterine swab samples (cattle-10 and buffalo-6) were positive for fungi. The most common fungi in cattle was Aspergillus fumigates and Penicillium spp. in buffalo.
