Blood smear examination revealed morulae of Ehrlichia canis in cytoplasm of monocytes and inclusions suggestive of Mycoplasma haemocanis in erythrocytes. The animal was successfully treated with Oxytetracycline @ 20mg/kg b.wt. intravenously for five days followed by Doxycyline @10mg/kg b.wt. orally daily for 10 days and supported with Prednisolone, Haematinics and Multivitamins.
