Laboratory findings revealed that all the affected samples were of grade 2 (++) reaction to CMT. A negative CMT reaction was observed in 3–5 days in Group II (84.6%) and Group III (91.6%). Isolates in the present study were coagulase positive Staphylococcus spp (68.0%), followed by Streptococci (p-hemolytic) 28%, Klebsiella spp. 12% and Pseudomonas spp. 8% and E.coli (4%). Cows of Group II were treated with Ceftriaxone and Meloxicam while Group III were treated with Enrofloxacin along with Vitamin E and Selenium and Meloxicam. The clinical cure rate noticed in Group II and Group III was 84.6% and 91.6% respectively. Top Keywords Cow, clinical, mastitis. Top |
