* Part of Post Graduate Thesis by first author Online published on 2 April, 2016. Abstract The study was envisaged to determine the antibiogram profile of mastitic pathogens in cows for effective therapeutic management. All isolates of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp and 22% isolates of E. coli were found 100% sensitive to Enrofloxacin. The efficacy of Enrofloxacin was judged on basis of significant decrease in somatic cell count and negativity of milk sample with modified california mastitis test. Also, post treatment milk sample did not reveal presence of bacterial pathogens confirming recovery. Top Keywords Antibiogram, cow, enrofloxacin, sub-clinical mastitis. Top |
