Online published on 2 April, 2016. Abstract The study was oriented to select suitable antibacterial treatment for management of repeat breeding in bitches. Vaginal and uterine swabs were collected aseptically and subjected for cytology and antibiotic sensitivity studies. In-vitro and in-vivo results revealed Gentamicin as the most suitable antibacterial. The recovery and successful conception with whelping following treatment supports bacterial and clinical cure.
