Online published on 6 April, 2015. Abstract A eight years old buffalo having cervico-vaginal prolapse 6 hours after forceful delivery was reported. The prolapsed mass was extremely edematous, injured, slightly teared and contaminated with lot of soil. Epidural anesthesia and intravenous analgesic was given and urine was evacuated from bladder. Later the whole prolapsed mass was washed with Metronidazole, Potassium permagnate and normal saline and then it was lubricated with Xylocain. Finally Calcium was given by I/V route with Dextrose and supported with NSAID, antibiotics, uterine ecbolics and vitamins. Top Keywords Buffalo, cervico-vaginal, postpartum, prolapse. Top |
