Abstract

Sixteen buffaloes were reported and treated for complaint of post partum uterine prolapse within 48–72 hrs after parturition. The prolapsed mass was replaced. These animals were treated with broad spectrum antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, anti-histaminic and other drugs. All cases were managed by application of special modified rope truss. After treatment, animals recovered uneventfully.
