Online published on 6 April, 2015. Abstract Dystocia due to breech presentation coupled with fetal ascites in buffalo was presented for treatment with history of completed gestation and rupture of water bags normally without any progress. Per-vaginum examination revealed presence of tail in birth canal and bilateral hip flexion (breech presentation) along with distended abdomen of fetus. Per-vaginum, fetal abdominal wall was punctured with stalfer's knife for evacuation of ascitic fluid and breech presentation was corrected by mutational techniques and fetus was delivered by gentle traction.
