Online published on 6 April, 2015. Abstract A full term pregnant Jersey crossbred heifer was presented with history of dystocia and pelvic injury due to road traffic accident recently. Gynaeco-clinical examination explored dead fetus's head hanging in vulva with compactly packed fetal hip in dam's pelvic inlet and diagnosed as hip lock condition. Complete fetotomy was performed using fetotomy knife and Thygesen fetatome and fetal parts were removed through per-vaginum. Top Keywords Dystocia, fetotomy, heifer, narrow pelvis. Top |
