Management of Incomplete Cervical Dilation and Dystocia in a Mare

Abstract

A Kathiawari mare aged 7 years was presented with signs of dystocia. Per vaginal examination revealed incomplete cervical dilation along with right lateral deviation of foetal head. Mare was treated with intravenous injection of oxytocin and forced traction for delivery of live foal.
