Abstract A rare case of Cloisonne kidney was recorded in an adult male Asiatic lion. Histopathologically, kidney showed marked thickening of basement membrane of proximal and distal convoluted tubules and also Bowmans’ capsule. The thickened and pigmented basement membrane gave strong PAS positive reaction and also positive Pearl's Prussian blue and Turnbull reaction. Top Keywords Cloisonné, Kidney, Histopathology, Lion.
