Abstract A carcass of non-descript buffalo with the history of anorexia and respiratory distress was presented for post-mortem examination. Necropsy revealed protrusion of a soft, smooth, reddish mass projecting from the ethmoid mucosa. Lung showed a prominent slightly raised circular whitish metastatic nodule on its surface. The retropharyngeal and mediastinal lymph nodes appeared enlarged. Histologically, the tumor mass revealed numerous small acini of neoplastic cells varying from cuboidal to columnar epithelium. Metastatic nodule in the lung showed similar features as observed in primary tumor. Multiple hydatid cysts were noticed in lung as an incidental finding.
