Abstract A hard nodular growth measuring about 2.5 cm in diameter was present at the throat region of an adult racing pigeon. Upon microscopic examination of tissue sections from the biopsy material collected in 10 per cent formalin, revealed a case of fibrosarcoma which might have resulted due to constant irritation of the part that might have attributed for the neoplastic growth.
