Abstract The article will begin with debate among agro-ecological farming and biotechnology based farming. The main focus of this article will be to explore the geopolitical manifestation of GMOs(Genetically Modified Organisms) and GM (Genetically Modified) food in contemporary world. The research paper will be scrutinizes the monopoly of western based corporate actors. The article will also appraise the AGRA, WEMA project and US aid policy in Africa, where Mozambique is also a partner.
