Discovering happiness: Learning from vedic ideas about a fulfilled life

Abstract

Vedic teachings can help people find true happiness and fulfillment in life. It looks at ancient writings and new ideas to explain important things like doing the right thing, taking action, and finding inner peace. The secrets to attaining a state of beatitude, or supreme happiness and fulfillment, in life. Drawing upon ancient scriptures, philosophical texts, and contemporary interpretations, the paper elucidates key principles and practices that guide individuals towards leading a life imbued with contentment, harmony, and spiritual elevation. Through a comprehensive analysis, it explores the significance of virtues such as dharma (righteousness), karma (action), and inculcating inner peace and external prosperity. The paper also talks about thinking about yourself, and helping others as ways to be really happy. By taking small insights like compassion, equality, equanimity, renunciation can take a person to highest level of happiness. Vedic treaties are always focus on The Art of Living, The Art of Dying and The Art of being happy (for no reason) in between. This paper gives emphasize on individuals seeking to cultivate a sense of fulfillment and well-being in accordance with Vedic philosophical principles.
