Relationship between emotional intelligence (Interpersonal characteristics) and team effectiveness (Case Study: Tehran Milad Hospital)

Abstract

Success in life depends on the person others think about their emotional experiences and emotional responses to organized. The ability to recognize their own feelings and those of others in order to improve their ability to use emotional intelligence are different. This capability is organized in a framework called Emotional Intelligence. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of emotional intelligence (EI dimensions, characteristics, interpersonal, emotional intelligence, emotional intelligence features individual outputs, compatibility, emotional intelligence, stress management, emotional intelligence, social skills, emotional intelligence) the effectiveness of group employees. The purpose of this research and applied research in terms of data collection and correlation of descriptive survey research and questionnaire is used to collect data. The population of Tehran's Milad Hospital staff that included 2150 persons, as well as the number of samples is calculated according to the formula 327 Cochran. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics; Spss software also uses the relationship between the independent variables (emotional intelligence) and the dependent variable (the effect Personnel) by calculating the normality test, correlation coefficients (Pearson or Spearman) and multiple regressions to examine. The research shows the output characteristics of the individual, there is significant positive correlation with emotional intelligence and team effectiveness. Self-esteem, and group efficacy variables also had significant positive correlation exist. Three variables control the characteristics of stress, coping and social skills do not correlate with efficacy group.
