Identifying and rating effective factors on commercialization of research results related to entrepreneurship in higher education institutions in Zahedan

Abstract

Commercialization is an important part of innovation process and any technology and products will not be marketed without it. Giving importance to knowledge and technology to provide the necessary conditions for economic growth and technological community will provide economic benefits for many organizations in implementing commercialization. The aim of this study was to identify and rank factors that influence business-related research and entrepreneurship in higher education institutions in Zahedan also offering affective solutions. A sample of 84 experts and business professionals were studied by questionnaires and 69 questionnaires were approved. After data collection by questionnaire and Friedman rate test, using the statistical software SPSS, priorities and factors affecting the commercialization of research findings related to entrepreneurial components were identified. Based on the results, a total of fourteen factors were identified: commercial priorities, personal- private, commercialization belief, defining business strategies, education - research, market - marketing, legal and political, technical - technological, institutional, incentive, supportive, knowledge of commercialization process, management and organization, which after rating these factors, supportive factors as the most important factor and education - research, was identified as the least important factor.
