Cloud computing has recently emerged as a model for the delivery of services on the Internet. This model is attractive to those who intend to start a business since it lets them start with the establishment a small sized company and extend its resources only when they really need it. Business success in the adoption of cloud computing requires a strategy which, in addition to the usage of factors such as software as a service, platform as a service and infrastructure as a service, explains business processes as a service. This article explains how to access new markets and increase the added value of information technology through cloud computing that should be examined in the adoption of a cloud strategy. In the end, the present study provides a solution for analyzing business value in connection with the adoption of a cloud strategy. Top Keywords Cloud computing, competitive advantage, strategy. Top |
